If you are an employer and want to help your employees receive psychological counselling and mental health support, we accept Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
EAP is a confidential, counselling-based intervention program for employees at all levels of an organisation. It is funded by the employer and shows their commitment to help their employees enhance their emotional, mental, and general psychological well-being.
We work with a number of agencies (such as WorkCover, TAC, DVA) to help individuals feel confident, assertive, and equipped to get back on their feet. Please contact us for more information.
We work with a wide range of corporate clients including business owners, managers, and staff members to help improve their performance and well-being.
We also offer a range of workshops to assist with any issues arising in the workplace (e.g., workplace stress, managing conflict, work-life balance, improving communication, grief and loss, managing trauma, coping with change, and building resilience), along with covering general mental health issues (e.g., stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship issues). Please contact us for more information.
Here’s what people commonly ask us
What is Psychological Counselling?
What would the first session be like in individual psychological counselling?
How much do you charge per session?
Can I obtain medicare rebate on individual psychology sessions?
Medicare provides rebates for individual and group counselling sessions if you have a referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician (for child referrals). To obtain a referral, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Make an appointment with your regular GP and complete a Mental Health Care Plan. It is a good idea to tell your GP and/or the medical practice staff that you require a psychological referral so that they know how long to book you in for.
Step 2: In order to receive Medicare rebate for psychology services, you will need to obtain your GP referral and bring in a copy of your Mental Health Care Plan prior to your first appointment with us. You may ask the medical practice to send/email us a copy of the Mental Health Care Plan before your session with us so that we are ready when you arrive.
Step 3: Book in a session with us using the contact form. And you will be all set for your first session!

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation or Reschedule: If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice. Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 48 hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to the full amount of the reserved service(s).
Reschedule appointment: Please note that if you reschedule your appointment at short notice (less than 48 hours), we may not be able to guarantee a spot within the next 1-2 weeks (from the time of your original scheduled appointment), as we tend to be fully booked a few weeks in advance.
No-show or late-arrivals: Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our clients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other clients as well. It also affects the service provider’s ability to provide you with the best service given shorter sessions/time-frames. We consider it to be a no-show or late arrival if a client arrival occurs after 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment time has elapsed.
